The Day After

The Day after xmas is going back day to Washington DC. And I've given my two guests two options, shops the whole day or experience the Empire State Building, the tallest building in the World. Well, atleast before the Petronas Tower in Kuala Lumpur, I am not really sure. We started the tour by experiencing New York Skyride. Its a simulator ride, so its quite fun, and we get to feel the ride on a roller coaster! Ofcourse the thrill is not as much as the real one. Then off to the top of the Empire State Building! What a welcome break and what an experience. The view from the top is simply breathtaking, and we even get to see the Statue of Liberty and ofcourse, the Brooklyn Bridge. I dont know what's the history behind that Bridge but my cousin's friend requested for it to be taken. Well, we can only aim to please or show off! The highlight of the experience must be the SNOW! Just when we stepped out to the outside deck at the top of the building, its snowed! Although I must sadly admit, uhuk uhuk, that this pales in comparison to the trip the two thrill seekers on the other side of the world experience in Belalong! Hmmm I wish, the Empire State Building let us climbed up the stairs instead of the elevators all the way to the 86th floor! (dont quote me on this, I dont remember how many floors were there). I am sure it will beat the 1226 steps they have to hopelessly endured! The height of this building is 1,453 feet (approx 500 metres).

Ofcourse we can't not use the shopping experienc after the Christmas Day. Its suppose to be the best SALE season of the year. But we didnt get to buy much. Except for a pretty cool looking Jacket (u know who u are), and as for me I bought a key chain and a money clipper that are sold for 70% discount. Not bad huh.

We, well I didnt realise that time is approaching 5pm, the time our bus suppose to leave for DC. Given the short time, I have to run back to the hotel to fetch our back, and ask my two guests to buy some food stuff for us to munch on the 4 hour trip back home (it turns out to be 5 hours cos of the traffic). Long story short, we arrived at home before 11pm, Sunday evening. Then we have a feast, since we havent eaten a decent meal in New York! That feast consist of Sabli's Chicken Curry (thanks sis), Sabli's Sambal Prawn, and Preserved Manggo (thanks Tangah) and other stuff. Well there goes my diet! This post also serve as a note that, I'll restart my abs diet on the January 1st, 2005. Yea rite!
