Does A Grapefruit A Day Keep The Doctor Away?
We all know the saying "An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Away". Apparently it doesnt hold true for a grapefruit. Why grapefruit? The thing is in the Abs book, it says "if you want to make one simple dietary change for better health, the best thing you can do is eat a single white or ruby grapefruit everyday. Grapefruit is gaining ground as a power food. New research shows that it can fight heart disease and cancer, trigger your body to lose weight and even help you get a better night's sleep. A grapefruit a day can lower your total cholesterol and LDL (bad) cholesterol levels by 8 and 11 percent respectively".
Anyway, the reason I brought this up is that because at the moment I have a cold. I have my own theory though, why the grapefruit doesnt keep the doctor away for me. I believe, ofcourse without a scientific basis, everytime I start my exercise program, I'll get sick, then it will take time for me to recover and restart my exercise again. This is my story, and I am sticking with it. So be warned! If at the end of all this I still have a 32" waist, its not for lack of trying but more probably because of biting more than I can chew!

damam? my theory it is caused by the changing of body temperature everytime we start working out
