Nasi Lemak anyone and Teh Tarik anyone?

I dont know if the person I am talking about is reading about this. I hope not but if he does, it doesn't matter anyway. I am not about to gossip, but rather the opposite. We were chatting last night on how to improve his English. I said, you only learn through practise. I really admire his dedication to learn the language but like him, I am also rather surprise that he has not fully masters the language yet. Anyway, I suggested for him to watch TV often.....alas he said, its always the other way around, the tv watches him instead. Oh well....just keep on going then. [PS: Not that I think my English is perfect, but I get by, I think, I hope oooops!]

Anyway, lets move on to some of the fact that I read that should help to reaffirm our commitment to keep our weight in check:

Overweight people are:

50% more likely to develop heart disease
Upto 360% more likely to develop diabetes
16% more likely to die of a first heart attack
Roughly 50% more likely to have cholesterol above 250
Likely to spend 19% longer in the hospital
20% more likely to have athma
31% more likely to die of any cause
120% more likely to develop stomach cancer
Up to 90% more likely to develop gallstones
590% more likely to develop esophageal cancer
35% more likely to develop kidney cancer
14% more likely to have osteoarthritis
70% more likely to develop high blood pressure

For obese people, the percentage is even higher. Wallahhua'lam

Nasi Lemak anyone and Teh Tarik anyone?
