R is for Romance - Its Another Love Story

66 another love stories to be exact. Anyway, today being Sunday, I am looking forward to shop, after all, I only have a few weekends left before I go back. But the weather is not cooperating with my plan. Its been snowing since last nite, and its so much nicer to stay at home. I was suppose to go to the gym last nite, apart of being my gym nite I also had a heavy dinner last nite. Alas, it was not meant to be. I was tired and lazy and a certain someone is nagging for me to chat instead. In any case, this morning at 6.30am! I went down to the gym to make up for lost time. The reason I was up was because The Australian Grand Slam Tennis was on live....for those who follow tennis, Safin won! After the fruitful gym session, I fell asleep only to wake up at noon. And the snow is still falling. So I decided to go out to the nearby shop just to get out of the apartment and I seem to recall there is going to be a Second Hand Book Sale towards the end of January. I was right, and the beauty is Sunday is half price day. So books that were sold for $2 each on Saturday are only $1 each, similarly books priced at 50 cents are 25 cents each. Well this blog is specifically dedicated to my two beloved sisters back home. Yes you heard it right, I end up bringing home a box full of romance novels - 66 to be exact, in the freezing snow! Maybe 20 or so of them are (wait a minute let me check) Harlequin Series - these are the ones that are priced at 25 cents each. I hope you guys read this, cause you owe me a big dinner once I get home!

Come to think of it I wonder if this is a good idea, since time they spent reading will be time spent accumulating FAT. Oh well, I am sure they know how to scheduled their reading time, NOT!

After sending the books home I went out again to take some pictures. If they are good will ask one of them to post in their blog again. The scenary was really breathtaking, what prompt me to go out to the park again was because a saw a group of whitish birds (pigeons maybe) flying low over the park. Maybe some was feeding them nuts.

The books will arrive possibly in April, so you still have time to plan your dinner menu. In any case, you better shape up in preparation for the `mengasuh bantal' period when they finally arrive!
